A healthier version of Chocolate Crackles

A dear friend and member of the Shop Naturally team, the lovely Miss Pru, has been set the task of turning some of the raw ingredients in the organic food section at Shop Naturally in to yummy treats that are good for you. This is Pru’s first recipe with us, and she’s certainly started with a giant chocolate BANG!!

  •  2 cups Loving Earth Organic Buckinis (activated buckwheat – don’t let the name fool you, it is actually a fruit and contains no gluten whatsoever)
  • 5 tbsps Power Super Foods Organic Cacao Powder
  • 1/2 cup organic coconut flakes or shredded organic coconut or organic dessicated coconut
  • 1/4 Power Superfoods Goji berries – or other organic berries such as blueberries, cranberries etc which I do believe will soon be in stock….so yay!
  • 1 tsp Maca powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp Mesquite powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp – 1 tsp Cinnamon…..I love, love, LOVE cinnamon so I tend to lean on the more is better side here, but play around with it…it’s a personal thing
  • 3 tbsp Organic Raw Agave Syrup
  • 1 cup Niugini Organics Raw 100% Organic Coconut Oil

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, make sure they are well covered.
Spoon mixture into patty cake papers, muffin tins – basically whatever you like and pop into the fridge to set. If you can’t wait, whack em in the freezer!

Enjoy…..moderately….if possible!
